Everyone loves to eat a sweet chocolate cake. Chocolate gives our nerves calmness and our mouth a taste of sweetness. So, today we have brought you a delicious recipe following which you can make a soft and tasty chocolate cake at your home without eggs. Many vegetarians suffer through this problem as cakes made in the market often contain eggs but with this recipe you can easily make a delicious cake at your home. 

Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients Delicious Chocolate Cake:

For the cake:

  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the chocolate ganache:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips / Gems
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions Delicious Chocolate Cake:

For the cake:

  • Step 1 – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If you do not have an microwave oven you can use a big size cooker of 5 Litres as well. Now, grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan with butter and flour. 
  • In case you are making the cake in the cooker, make sure  you use a pan which fits into the cooker. 
  • Step 2 – Now it’s time to make the batter for the cake. This is the important part where you need to make sure you are mixing the right amount of everything otherwise you can loose taste or fluffiness of the cake. 
  • Take a large mixing bowl and whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt as mentioned in the amount above, until well combined.
  • Step 3 – It’s time to shake and swiss. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the warm water, vegetable oil, white vinegar, and vanilla extract in the right amounts as mentioned above in the list. Stir this mix until there are no visible lumps.
  • Step 4 – Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. You can use butter paper or sprinkle some flour in the pan before pouring the batter. This will help you later and it will be easy taking the cake out of the pan.
  • Step 5 – Now bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or if you are cooking in the cooker, cook it for 45 minutes but make sure you have removed the pressure cooker regulated vet or whistle. You can check if your cake is ready or not by inserting a toothpick or Knife. Cook the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step 6 – Now let your cake cool to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the chocolate ganache:

  1. Take a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to boil. Now, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chocolate chips as well as the butter. Let it sit for a minute to allow the chocolate to melt, then stir until it becomes smooth and glossy.
  • Now let’s decorate the cake. To do that, place the cooled cake on a serving plate. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides. Let the 

ganache set for a few minutes, decorate it with chocolate chips or gems or any sweet items and Voila!! Your chocolate cake is ready.
